Submissions for the 2014 Spring issue are now open and will close on 15 February 2014. Submissions will be vetted and accepted on an on-going basis. Published contributors will receive an honorarium of $45, as well as a free copy and a ticket to our release event in March.
Nonfiction, Fiction, Criticism, Philosophy
Submissions should not exceed 3000 words. We strongly encourage shorter works, as our page limitations are rather dire. Please use MLA format where applicable. Submit no more than three works of prose.

Short plays and monologues should not exceed four pages in length, size 12 font. Submit no more than three dramatic pieces.
Submit up to four poems. Include English translations for all non-English language poems.
Visual art submissions include photography, paintings, drawings, prints, cartoons, and graphic literature. Submit up to four pieces of visual art. Include the piece’s physical size and medium.
Here you can submit any work that you feel does not conform to the genres specified above. Please read each genre title carefully.
Please attach your file as an rtf or .doc Word document (no .docx please). Visual artwork is preferred in .png format, although high resolution .jpg or .jpeg files are also acceptable. Please keep the resolution as high as possible on images. If your image is too large to email, we will accept CD/DVD submissions (email for details).

All published work remains copyrighted with the author/artist. Material will be archived on the website for at least two years. The Warren does not accept previously published work and the editors of The Warren will contact you regarding your submissions via email.
